What to Expect

As usual, the statutory warning…

This work is fiction. Any resemblance to anyone, any place or any incidence is pure coincidence – or – maybe, your wild imagination…

In fact, I will say that the entire nature of the book is fictitious…

The reason I say this is because, I wanted to write a story with complete imagination – the town, the jungle, the tribes, the people and the whole geography explained in the story is fictitious.

There is no town near to a jungle as described in real world – at least to my knowledge.

I enjoyed writing this story and the plot where you get everything – from romance to thrills, action to emotions, etc.

This was pre-chinese virus pandemic and I thought of the story looking at the hate, the world was then experiencing… alas, the hate factor has grown manifold now…

I was disturbed and I still am disturbed by hate within factions of the society… no matter where in the world.

I have written at the start of the book/story…

“I have one dream…

One World ~ One Human Race.”

When will we see each other as humans and not based on religion, caste, race or sect?

Will we ever reach this state of mind?

Gist: A choice is given to the Main Character of this Book – The Goal (Mission of his Life he himself has undertaken) or The Girl (who has popped into his life) he loves – What do you think he would choose?

A Compulsory Read that leaves you wondering if this is the only solution left for common people who are thrust with uncontrolled disasters in life due to someone else’s misdeeds…

To tell you more… I had to think of a fictitious town with its fictitious surroundings. I had to imagine the geography and the contours of hills, the fields and wasteland within this region.

I had to imagine the jungle and not so advanced tribal folks.

I had then to integrate them into a society which is Indian. I had to develop characters, with their background that matched the geography.

Some old movies helped me in structuring the first class rail bogies from the old times creating the grandeur of those trains – these bogies cannot be seen as of today…

As usual, I have written this story in Indian English because English is one of the languages spoken in India – about 150 million can speak the language and many more can read and write English – though they communicate in their own local languages.

When I was writing this I also thought why not use some local Indian words like ‘Lathi’, ‘Dupatta’, etc which would add the Indian fervour to this story…

I also have a glossary which explains these words or items and their usage which are normal in India… This is for people who are not familiar with the Indian terms or the culture.

e.g. Dupatta is a form of cloth used by women to wrap around their bosoms to fend off any untoward glance by men with wrong intentions and it is definitely used for many more purposes.

I thought that if this story reaches someone who does not reside in India, they might be interested to know a little bit of Indian culture and accessories used by Indians – especially in villages and small towns.

I have enjoyed writing this story and many people (Approximately 400K plus) also have enjoyed reading this story. This was published on Kindle around 2017 and was free to read for Kindle users before I took it off Kindle. The original story had many spelling and grammatical mistakes – so I will have to edit the same before I post them here… Later a variant of this story was printed under name of The Conducer – this was around the chinese virus time and I couldn’t market the book as the World was in a state of a standstill and there was lockdown everywhere and was opening up a little bit…

I am sure you too will enjoy reading this story which I will post in form of a series every week – part by part… I also am busy in writing other stuff as well my social and professional bindings to keep me earning my bread and butter while I post it for Free here… So, without wasting more time and space – I am starting to type out the pages with your blessings and start posting them here… If possible, I will increase my speed so that you get more to read in a week…

See you shortly with this series…
