Most of us may have seen (at least on YouTube) a mind reader aka mentalist displaying their mind reading skills where they leave you in awe.
They sometimes read the serial number on the currency that you hold in your hand, picked out of your pocket and you are standing – may be, in the 15th row away from the mind reader. It is as if the mind reader is looking at the currency note in your hand through your eyes…
Or – one of the mind reader reads your mind when they ask you to think of your first crush (may be, your spouse isn’t even aware that you had a crush by that name…) and blurts it out in front of everyone present at the show leaving you, red in your face…
By and large, almost everyone is stunned by their performance and you keep thinking as to how they did it…
So, I thought, why not a short thrilling story on one of these mind readers – obviously, a fictional character….
