We keep waiting for things to change,
Though the pattern continues!
We keep waiting for rules to change,
So we keep protesting!
But nothing changes!

We march for justice,
We shout for reform,
But the headlines repeat themselves,
And the pain remains the same.

We keep waiting for a dawn that never comes,
Hoping for safety in streets that still threaten,
Yet the darkness lingers,
While justice is delayed, and lives are shattered.

We keep waiting,
But how much longer will we wait?
When will the pattern break?
When will the world wake?
