“I think, I can consider your proposal. I like your open mindedness. I like your conversational style. To look at, you are good looking. You have a well set business and are taking interest in the work I do – so I think that you will let me carry on with my work after we marry… The only thing is, this proposal is quite early and I think we actually do not know each other well. I got to think about this – may be, I can let you know of my decision later…” she said looking quite serious.
He was elated a bit but had doubts if she was being nice to say NO to him directly… Further, he had not asked her anything about her past or if she already had a boyfriend or was engaged to be someone’s bride. Kicking himself for being impatient, he got up from his chair and looked at her with a bit of dejection, “Bye – for the night…” and started to move towards the door of the room.
He again heard the lilting laughter and felt sad that for the first time in his life he had been serious and it hadn’t worked. He was about to open the door of the room when he felt her soft hand on his shoulder. Not understanding why she would do that, he turned to look at her smiling with a twinkle in her eye…
She smiled at him, “Akash! I was pulling your leg… To think of it, even I was considering the same thing – getting married to you. You are the first person who I felt I should get married to and you are eligible… I accept your proposal and am ready to be your wedded wife…” and she blushed after her words…
He was happy and put his hand in his pocket and brought out a fantastically carved bracelet and held out to her, “I am sorry I should have got a ring for you but I got this bracelet instead. Please accept this as a token of my love for you and as my proposal to you to get married to me…”
“This bracelet is fabulous…” she exclaimed and happily took it and wore it looking at fantastic carvings and the make of the bracelet. She then pulled him toward her and started kissing him long and sweet. He was happy to kiss her back. Soon the kisses started getting deep and passionate and he had trouble containing the rising lust in him…
But, she carried on with her kisses and suddenly her eyes turned lusty. She couldn’t contain herself and her hands started exploring his body outwardly. Even he couldn’t contain and his hands started to move around her body exploring her curves. Finally, they gave in to their feelings of lust and shifted over to her bed in the room… (Here, I had thought of writing few erotic words but refrained for I know children could be reading this story…)
After satisfying their lusty feelings which had emerged of sudden, they lay there kissing each other affectionately for a while before he dressed up and ready to go to his room. She also dressed up to say bye to him and called her parents over a video call from her phone and introduced Akash to them. They were happy for the couple and decided that once Ayushi’s project was done with – they will have a simple engagement ceremony at Nashik and then plan their marriage.
Heavy hearted he got up to leave to his room and wanted to stay back but Ayushi was firm and said that whatever happened, happened – he should be in his room keeping a distance from her from now on till they got married. He opened the door and stepped out of the room and she followed him about a step outside and kissed him long and sweet again bidding him goodnight…
With a heavy heart that they had to part for the night he waived her goodnight and then with an elated mood that finally he was going to settle in his life with Ayushi almost danced his way to his room. He lay on his bed imagining Ayushi to be beside him and started dreaming of his married life and finally dozed off into a sweet deep sleep.
This was the best day of his life he had lived so far and nothing was going to matter till he sees Ayushi tomorrow…
