Akash was an Interior Designer and a Decorator. He was doing well as far as, his business was concerned. He was good looking but not handsome. He definitely had a charming personality which got him clients. Especially, he was able to charm women – no matter if they were 15 or 55.
He was about to finish a site and was into negotiations for the next one. This was going to be a site where he would earn a hefty amount. It was simply irresistible – A bungalow in Mumbai, a bungalow cum farmhouse at Lonavala, in addition to it, the offices belonging to her businessman husband.
“So – Mrs Lavanya – the deal is final now. We will start with your bungalow in Mumbai. Then the various office premises and finally makeover of your farmhouse at Lonavala.”
“Yes. We will do it in this order and make all the changes as per your observation and plan. This calls for coffee party as the sign up of this deal.” she laughed.
Mrs. Lavanya was about 33 yrs old. She was beautiful and had maintained her well-toned body. He had a difficult time keeping the relations with her strictly professional.
“This work is going to start about a month from now. Till then what are you going to do? Perhaps… a small site that I would cater?”
“Oh! No! – The site which I am handling now is almost complete. I’ll be handing that over somewhere next week.”
“That’s good. This means you still have about 3 weeks in hand to kill…” she persisted.
“I ‘m planning to go out on hunting out some antique items which could render some more value and be decorative to your premises…”
“So will you be going toward north – like Rajasthan or toward south – like Kerala…”
“Frankly, I haven’t yet decided. I may visit somewhere else all-together to study ancient Architecture – got a week in hand to decide…”
“Bon Voyage” she said dreaming about some imaginary location. About how she would travel and how she would choose that location.
He left her premise, elated at the contract he had bagged. He smiled at the advance cheque that she had given…
