Though Akash was relieved that he was not in trouble with the law – he was perturbed – both Ayushi and Lavanya had the same expression on them when they died… Both had died the same night when he had sex with them … Could it be a coincidence?
Further he found that inspector had doubts on him and had asked his men to keep an eye on him – he found the police in plain clothes following him wherever he went and he felt uncomfortable… The inspector had doubts when he discovered that Ayushi had died and when he looked at her photograph available in the police records which was clicked during the investigation – he had noticed the exact same expression on her and Lavanya… both were in touch with Akash the evening before they died and he had his doubts on Akash…
Akash was at a loss of action – he again was in no mood to smile or laugh – his life again had taken a turn. He was invited to the engagement ceremony of his friend and had no choice but attend that function. He knew his friend was filthy rich and all his rich friends and business community would be attending the ceremony – it meant business… his life had to go on without Ayushi and Lavanya who were dead…
Heavily he got ready for the ceremony wearing one of his best dresses and moved toward the venue… his friend was someone who had been with him since school days and his fiancée also was someone he knew from his college days. They were together in college and good friends – obviously, his friend and his fiancée were already in love and had decided to marry since their college days – and finally, they were getting engaged…
Even in midst of the ceremony they observed that Akash was unusually quiet and not at his own – he would normally tried to grab attention with his wit and charm – he would have tried to impress all eligible girls who were attending the function… he simply was not in his element and they missed out on the fun he normally would bring along with his presence.
They let the ceremony get over and it was time for party and dinner – he was introduced by his friend’s fiancée to a girl who he didn’t know – she probably had made friends with her after the college – her name was Tanisha…
She was as bubbly as he usually was and had her own way of charming people – his friend’s fiancée thought that they would make a good pair and would bring more fun along when they would meet some other day.
“Hi… I am Tanisha…” she introduced herself as they sat down awaiting the party and the dinner after she was introduced to him, “I heard that you normally are fun to be around with and I like to interact with such people – because I normally meet people who are in trouble and are in no mood to have any fun – they normally in dire state of life and come to me for solutions…”
He looked blankly at her, “Are you a psychologist?”
“No… I am a lawyer who is in her internship with P G Pasricha lawyer firm and dream of making it big one day opening my own lawyer firm where I could see t it that people have their issues amicably sorted. What about you?”
“Hi… I am Akash – an Interior Designer and Decorator. I normally makeover the homes and offices of people to make them look better and make visitors feel welcome to them…”
“Oh! – nice to meet you Akash – maybe – when I make my office I will appoint you for the makeover.” She smiled a sweet smile at him.
For the first time, he looked at her – she was adorned in a dark blue rich top which had collar buttons and hid her upper part of body from any prying eyes though the top was stitched almost tightly to reveal her slim body with medium breasts and some design on it to make it look rich. She wore a light blue flowing long skirt below with floral pattern which added to the grace that a peacock has and she wore the entire dress with f=grace and confidence that oozed from her personality. She was fair and almost straight hair which fell over her shoulder on to her back. Her face was cute and attractive with a beautiful smile adorning it over which she wore rimless glasses which hampered her sexy persona…
“Well – you seem to be studious and must have overworked your eyes studying law…” he remarked to which she started laughing and her laughter melted him – he had to summon all his determination not to fall for her beauty for he was still aware that Ayushi and Lavanya who had sought nearness to him had died of sudden and he still was not sure if it had to do something with his nearness…
“Actually – these are zero powered glasses to render a mature look to my personality otherwise clients instead of reaching out to me for solution would start reaching me out for the wrong reason and attempt to try to impress me – the wrong way…”
“Oh! – but I feel your looks don’t matter when someone really wants to get a solution to a problem in his or her life till the solution works or the person giving them the solution is capable of doing so…”
“I have met so many clients because Mr Pasricha feels that I should learn my lessons from the beginning – by meeting the clients first and understanding their needs – he normally lets me meet the new clients and then he prefers meeting them with my input… friends?”
“Friends – That’s nice of him to let you have the first hand information of the cases you handle so that you can understand and learn how a solution is given.”
“In fact, when I saw you for the first time at this ceremony – I felt you were in some sort of trouble and when I was told about you as to how outgoing person you really are; I had this doubt because your quietness didn’t match the information about you… You have called me your friend, if I can be of any help to you, I will be glad…”
“No – I am not in any sort of legal trouble – but it looks like police are bent on proving me a murderer…” she looked wide eyed at his revelation, “and, I am thinking of ways of how to tell them that I am not someone who will murder anyone. How can I be associated to people who die by themselves and be called a murderer?” he was almost on the brink of hysteria thinking where his life was leading him…
“Well – this is not a place to discuss all this – why don’t we meet at the office of Mr Pascricha?”
