Thoughts of a Writer in me …

There are many writers. Some write blogs. Some write on Social Media. Some use platforms like Wattapad, Pratilipi to showcase their writing skills. While some write scripts for You Tube, Dramas, Movies, Short Films, etc. Also you will find writers who are content creators for Websites.

Writers like me write short and long stories and publish them for people to read at their leisure.

I don’t know how these authors think or operate. I know what I do… I write these stories to entertain myself in first place…

When a story or an idea hits me – I write it down in short format for future reference. Some, I start writing but put stop and let it remain unfinished because some other idea seems to be more interesting and fills up my imagination. I have a lot of unfinished stories and ideas that I haven’t worked on.

Further, there are many scenes, happenings or dialogs in my books which I had to delete because they may dilute the main story or are too sensitive to be included or may unnecessarily increase the length of the book.

(I would like you to read and ask your friends who read / write to follow this space. I am planning to post my unfinished stories which I thought of writing but left half way – maybe, they can use their imagination and complete them – no matter what platform.)

Then, there are quite a few things which go on in mind when I write a story. Like the locations where the things are going to happen – I have characters in the story – I can’t imagine people – I can imagine what they are going to do. I need to see people and search my characters in them. I have to follow their style, their looks, their gait, their expression and if possible, hear their voice. Then these characters come alive in my imagination. Example, if I write about a random character that does nothing but is present in one of the scenes – he or she has to be someone I have seen. The lead lady in my stories, are general girls who I have either met or have seen to note all their expressions. They could be my friends or someone who visits the joints I normally visit or someone who was with me during a longish travel enough for me to study her. Same is with other main characters.

Now that I have told you what goes behind when I write those books and that I am planning to post few unfinished stories – I want you to ask your friends (who read / write)to follow this space so that they can enjoy and imagine what could have been the end of a particular story.

One such story I would like start with is I am going to post about Mystery Deaths – my twist on the story is different and I would like to see who can guess the killer.

This is a story I thought about somewhere in 1998 when I visited Shirdi for a sales visit and since all the rooms there were full, I had to stay put at a nearby town of Nathu Patalchiwadi… The room had an eerie feeling, however I had to stay put only for a night. It is this pace where I got the idea for the story… The lines that came to my mind were…

Of all the romantic pursuits, she was easy.

She was wanting and had accompanied him to a hotel room.

They enjoyed the exclusive company of each other and finally they lay asleep side by side.

He woke up with a feeling of satisfaction of the lust that had subsided and reached out for her…

Her body was cold – she was dead !!

He had woken up beside a dead body – a body he had enjoyed not few hours ago…

I may complete this one at a later date or not complete it – can’t say right now. But, I am sure you will enjoy the incomplete story. I have not even decided what the title of the story is going to be and I am going to post it in episodes.  So I am posting this incomplete story under the Title of Sudden Death …Hopefully it’s going to be every weekend show …

As said by the author, this is an incomplete story… and is not in a mood to complete it…

Could you complete it for us?

You can submit it to us and the best ending will be published under your name.

Else … Enjoy the incomplete story to the fullest …

Spread the love
