His thoughts wandered into the past. Not six months ago – he was living a simple and peaceful life.
He owned a motor repair shop in a smallish town. He had worked hard to see it prosper and his repair shop was now famous in that town.
He had upgraded his skills and the equipment to cater to high cost cars. Almost every rich man in that town trusted him with his expensive cars.
Every year, toward the start of monsoon, he used to take a month long vacation. His repair centre remained closed with all helping hands off with a paid holiday.
He used to visit his near and dear relatives during this time to keep the bonds of relations alive.
This year, he had decided to extend the vacation to two months. His cousin at a distant smallish town wanted to set up a motor repair workshop and wanted him to help him set it up.
He was meticulous and he informed all his regular customers about the temporary closure of his workshop and then accordingly had boarded the south bound train. The overnight journey took him to his cousin.
He was happy at the warm welcome by his family and he didn’t waste any time. He started working right away and started to train his cousin.
Soon … The business started to grow and the customers started to pour in. Then, one of the esteemed businessmen in that town entrusted them with one of his expensive cars.
He worked wonders on that car. The owner was immensely pleased and promised him that his entire fleet would be entrusted to them.
The next day, the businessman returned with another car.
While he was inspecting the car a bike crashed on to it causing ugly dent. He demanded that the guys on the bike pay for the damage they had done and the conversation took an ugly turn. The guys were tough guys and in the heat of the argument, he lost control on his temper and thrashed them senseless.
The police had taken his custody for the fight and put him in remand. The business person was made aware of what had happened and used his clout to get him released. The rich guy knew that whatever happened was to get the damage charges out of those tough guys for the dent they had caused.
He worked on that car giving it the finest polished look much to the joy of the businessman. Soon … other businessmen from the town started to entrust their cars to that repair workshop.
He realized that they were interconnected with many interlinked businesses. The cousin’s repair workshop started to flourish and he was happy for his cousin.
